      Seiko has also introduced the military-style SEIKO 5 Sports.

       

      Although it is SEIKO 5 Sports, it also unfortunately has the crown at the 3 o’clock position. That aside, it still turned out really cool.

       

      The Military style comes standard with the crown at the 3 o’clock position, so lets let that one slide.

      Nice Military Style Watch

      This is a nice update to the SKX/SNK military watches of the early 2000s. The size is obviously larger, but at just under 40mm, it wears well. It definitely looks military, but not in an obtrusive way which means it can be worn with just about anything. The Seiko Nato band is okay, but there are better options out there, which is why I updated mine immediately. From what I can tell, this model is a color combination that is not imported to the US, so if you're looking for something unique, then this is a great option.

      I have two of the

      I have two of the original 35mm Seiko 5 Military (SKX427), and this is a great upgrade. It wears well and looks sharp on the wrist. My only grip is if you are in poor lighting the numbers can be a tad hard to read due to a lack of contrast against the dial. That said it has a nice stealth vibe to it. The lume is very good. The standard NATO strap is okay, but I swapped mine out for a higher end black NATO and it looks better.
