This watch design is very impressive and quite fun to wear . I really like the bracelet that Seiko provides with this model but I also wear it with a thin carmel colored Horween leather strap and a deployant buckle . It's great both ways but man is it smokin hot with the leather ; ) Super fast shipping from our friends in Japan is amazing and also great customer service all around . Great service

The quality of the dial and hands is so remarkable that it could be mistaken for a Grand Seiko. From the subtleties of the pattern on the dark blue face to the ever so slightly beveled and half-brushed hands to the gold colored second hand and the gently domed crystal, the overall effect is extraordinary. The screw-down crown with 20 bar rating makes it very practical for daily wear and is a huge plus. The date window is large and legible and does not detract from the overall balance of the design. I promptly removed the metal strap and replaced with a Hirsch buffalo strap and the effect is terrific. Of note, some but not all 20 mm leather straps will fit the 19 mm lugs with a little encouragement. The only real negative is the lack of a signed crown, but for a watch of this quality at 1/5 the cost of a Grand Seiko, I am completely satisfied. Of course, the shipping from Seiya to New York City was lightning fast. I have purchased a number of Seikos and one GS from Seiya in the past and expect to be a repeat customer.
