I gave this watch 1 star because the bezel is misaligned and there is too much backplay on the bezel. This is quite annoying because there is not supposed to be any backplay on the bezel. The action on a bezel without backplay feels much better.

At this price the bezel should not be misaligned. It's a shame because the watch is beautiful. If you want to get one of these I recommend that you go into a store and examine the watch before purchasing.

Not only does this watch look better in person than in the photos, the shipping was super fast and easy. This is my 2nd watch from Seiya, the first over 10 years ago, and the experience was just as good now as it was then. My first Seiya watch was a JDM piece but even though this watch is available in the US (although hard to find) I was happy to go through Seiya again.

As to the watch, I switched to a NATO strap and it looks great with the brown sunburst dial and gilted hands and markers.

The Seiko Prospex Diver SBDC105 is a well made automatic watch with a size that’s just right (~40 mm). The gilt dial is awesome, and the alignment of the outer ring is good. I just can’t keep my eyes of the attractive dial, while the watch has quickly become one of my all time favorites. SeijaJapan, as in the past, handled the transaction flawlessly and in a timely manner!
